The Greensboro Artists' League will provide an opportunity for artists to have slides made of their work by professional photographer Gary Houston of Printers Film Service. Registration information may be obtained from the league by calling 370-9280 before June 19.

HUDSON PAINTERS - The Hudson Studio Painters, students of Berle Hudson, will show their works at Cotton Mill Square's Upper Level June 10-17. Cotton Mill Square is at the corner of Spring Garden Street and Merritt Drive. An opening reception Sunday, June 10, will run from 2 to 5 p.m.IN CARNEGIE - Xiao-lu Li, concertmaster of the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra, will perform in Carnegie Recital Hall in New York City June 30 with his wife, Yang Yang Li, also a violinist with the Greensboro Symphony, and pianist Barbara McKenzie. They will play works by Antonin Dvorak, Sergei Prokofiev and Cesar Franck. Li is now artist in residence at N. C. State University, where he also conducts the concert orchestra.

DRAMA WORKSHOP - A creative drama workshop will be held June 20-27 at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 10 to 11 a.m. each day. Graduate students directed by Tom Behm, UNCG associate professor, will lead students in pantomime, improvisation and story dramatization. Children aged six to 10 can be resistered for the free workshop by calling 334-5562 between 12:30 and 2 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday afternoons.

EXPLORERS MEET - An Explorers Class designed to encourage children's natural love of music will be offered for three and four year-olds at the Music Center in Village Green, 310 W. Meadowview Rd., June 25-28 and July 23-26. A 9:30 and a 10:30 a.m. class are offered in each session. Fee is $20 per child for each four-day session. For information, call 272-5353.

Children will learn by singing, rhythm activities, creative movement and playing rhythm instruments.
