Island Records will digitally remaster the entire Bob Marley catalog for CD release on Marley's original Tuff Gong label in June.

Many of the recordings are currently available on disc, but the new releases will be redone using top-of-the-line technology.Five titles - ``Burnin,' ' ``Catch a Fire,' ``Natty Dread,' ``Rebel Music' and ``Confrontation' - will be budget-priced at a little more than $11. Marley's 13 albums for Island remain strong sellers.

In other news about Island and its subsidiary Mango, the soundtrack to the current offbeat thriller ``Bad Influence' is introducing a new audience to the label's international music roster. The disc features a selection of world music and rock, including a powerful track by Zimbabwe's Thomas Mapfumo, reggae from Toots Hibbert, Algerian rai from Chaba Fadela and alternative-rock act Skinny Puppy.
