The two-part campaign will start Saturday with scouts distributing plastic bags at homes for residents to pack with nonperishable food. Then on Feb. 14, the scouts will collect the bags. The food will be donated to Greensboro Urban Ministry and other area agencies that help families in need. Residents who do not get a bag from a scout can take their donations to participating Winn-Dixie stores.
