Tomar - McCloskey

Erin Heather Tomar and Joseph Francis McCloskey were united in marriage Saturday, June 11, 2005, at Hodgin Valley Farm. Dr. Elbert Wethington, great uncle of the bride, officiated. Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Forest Oaks Country Club. On Friday evening, the rehearsal dinner was held at Hodgin Valley Farm.The bride is the daughter of Larry and Dottie Tomar of Greensboro, N.C. She is a graduate of Southeast Guilford High School and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in media studies. She is the production manager for Wheeler Television in Charlotte.

The groom is the son of Joseph and Margie McCloskey of Kingston, Tenn. He is the grandson of Elizabeth McCloskey and the late Lester McCloskey of Kent, Wash. He is a graduate of Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C. with a B.S. in broadcasting. He is a photojournalist with Fox8 WGHP in High Point.

The bride was attended by Angela Weant as matron of honor. The maids of honor were Wendy Causey , Lindsey Strickland and Vivian Tong. Bridesmaids were Heather Cady, Stephanie Lawrence, Kim McGee and Brittany Turulski. The flower girl was Nicole Vetti.

The groom chose his father, Joe McCloskey, Sr., as best man. Groomsmen were Joash Brunet, Heath Tomar, brother of the bride, Jon Arnold, cousin of the bride, Leo McGinty and Chad Tucker.

The couple is taking a honeymoon to the Florida Keys.
