CHAPTER WILL CELEBRATE WOMEN IN CONSTRUCTION

The Greater Greensboro Chapter 109 of National Association of Women in Construction will observe Women in Construction Week Monday through Friday.

The event is being sponsored by the national organization and its chapters across the country. It coincides with the group's Founders' Day, which is Sept. 11.Women in Construction Week, with the theme ``Construct the Future,' is designed to increase the visibility of women in the construction industry.

Greater Greensboro Chapter 109 meets for dinner and a program at 6 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month at the Airport Marriott.

On Thursday, the chapter will celebrate with a special program presented by motivational speaker Chris Hannibal.

Special dinner guests will include City Council member Don Vaughan, NAWIC district director Barbara Moore, and charter member Marguerite Conron.
