Constantine Mitsotakis of the conservative New Democracy Party secured the parliamentary majority he needed to form a new government Monday, winning endorsement from a small centrist party and apparently breaking a long standoff in Greek politics.

Mitsotakis, 71, said he will pick a Cabinet by Wednesday.
