The Greensboro City Council faces a short agenda at its meeting today.
The council will debate whether to designate the Walker-Scarborough house, 911 W. McGee St., as a local historic property.The house, owned by William and Jane Moore, was built before 1857 and is one of about 12 antebellum houses still standing in Greensboro. Moore is director of the Greensboro Historical Museum.
The council meets at 1 p.m. on the second floor of the Melvin Municipal Office Building, at the corner of Washington and Greene streets.
