KURIMOTOMACHI, Japan - Dave Hill struggled to a windblown 74 today and fell back into a tie with Taiwan's Hsieh Min-nan and Hsu Chi-san after two rounds of the $400,000 Grandslam senior tournament.
Hsieh shot the day's best round, a 2-under-par 70, to pull even with Hill and Hsu at 143 after two rounds over the 6,599-yard Oak Hills Country Club course southeast of Tokyo. Hsu shot a 76.Japan's Hideo Jibiki was at 144 after shooting a 75 and was one shot ahead of four heavyweights from the PGA Senior Tour - Larry Mowry, Lee Trevino and Miller Barber of the United States and New Zealand's Bob Charles - and Japan's Kesahiko Uchida.
