Keyauwee Program Center, the Girl Scout Camp and program facility owned and operated by the Tarheel Triad Girl Scout Council, offers summer camp programs tailored especially to girls ages 6-17. All girls are welcome; you do not have to be a Girl Scout to attend camp.
Located near High Point, Keyauwee Program Center serves girls from the Council's 13-county jurisdiction and is accredited by the American Camping Association. Sessions usually run one week in length with shorter sessions for younger girls and longer sessions for older girls. Sessions are offered from June 19 to Aug. 7.Programs include cheerleading, photography, horseback riding, swimming, canoeing, outdoor exploration, fashion/fitness/make-up and more. All sessions include general camp activities such as swimming, arts and crafts, boating, orienteering, outdoor skills, sports and badge work. Examples of basic fees are $125 for WOW! Week of Water, $135 for Campcraft Pioneering, $150 for Sports Sampler and $130 for Cheerleading.
