HENRY ALSTON

Henry Alston, formerly of Greensboro, died Thursday at Kings Mountain Memorial Hospital in Kings Mountain.Funeral plans are incomplete at Brown's Funeral Home.\

BARBRO FUNERAL

Funeral for Mrs. Aliene Louise Barbro, 70, of 3723 Sawgrass Road, who died Thursday, will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home. Burial will be in Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints cemetery in Colfax.

A native of Guilford County, she was a homemaker and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Guilford Ward.

Surviving are husband, Larry Barbro; son, Lawrence M. Barbro of Hendersonville, Tenn.; brother, John T. Mitchell Jr. of Greensboro; sister, Mrs. Margie Macemore of Greensboro; half brother, Elmo Mitchell of Greensboro; three grandchildren.

The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today, other times at the residence.

HERMAN BOST

ARCHDALE - Herman Oscar Bost, 82, of 115 Pinecrest Drive died Friday at High Point Regional Hospital.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Cumby Mortuary in Archdale. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park Cemetery.

A native of Statesville, he was a retired employee of Lampart Table Co. and a member of Central Alliance Church and the Men's Bible Class.

Surviving are wife, Cleo Barnes Bost; daughter, Mrs. Vera Stilley of High Point; sons, Wayne Bost, Harold Bost, both of Archdale; five grandchildren.

The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today.\

DAVIS FUNERAL

Funeral for Jasper Davis of 6462 Beulah Church Road, who died Saturday, June 29, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Stony Hill A.M.E. Church. Burial will be in Stony Hill Cemetery.

A native of Stanly County, he was a retired employee of the City of Greensboro.

Surviving are sons, Brian K. Davis of Greensboro, Leonard Davis of Liberty, Jasper Davis Jr. of Orangeburg, S.C., Jerome Davis of Graham.

The family will be at Hargett Funeral Home 7-8 p.m. today.\

ROSS DIXON

Ross Covington Dixon of 2515 Berkley Place died Friday at his home.

Funeral plans are incomplete at Forbis & Dick North Elm Street Funeral Home.

The family will be at the funeral home 7-8:30 p.m. today.\

ANGEL EGGERS

HIGH POINT - Angel Eggers, infant daughter of Carol M. and Gregory Eggers of 2325-F Gordon Road, died Friday at High Point Regional Hospital.

Funeral will be private.

Surviving in addition to her parents are maternal grandparents, Roy L. Mabe of Roanoke, Va., Mrs. Lois C. Mabe of Danville, Va.; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Eggers of Troutville, Va.; maternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Rhudy Crouse of Sparta.

The family will be at the residence 3:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday.

Cumby Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.\

FAUCETTE FUNERAL

Funeral for Mrs. Eloise H. Faucette of 251 Jackson St., Hampstead, N.Y., who died Tuesday, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. James Baptist Church. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.

Surviving are husband, Alexander Faucette Sr.; sons, the Rev. Alexander Faucette Jr., Amos Faucette, both of Greensboro; daughters, Doris Drake of Hillside, N.J., Helen Faucette of New York City, Joyce Campbell, Jeannette Brummell, both of South Orange, N.J.; brother, Robert Hall of Elizabeth, N.J.; sister, Mary McDaniels of Elizabeth, N.J.; 10 grandchildren.

The family will be at Hargett Funeral Home 6-7 p.m. today.\

GRAVES SERVICE

Graveside service for William Henry ``Smokey' Graves Jr., 35, of 6760 Monnett St., who died Thursday, will be at 4:30 p.m. Monday in St. John Baptist Church cemetery in Climax.

A native of Siler City, he was an employee of Hall Tire.

Surviving are daughter, Angel Frances Graves; mother and stepfather, Lorine and William P. Motley of Greensboro; father and stepmother, William Abraham and Nancy Graves of Greensboro; brother, Andre Motley of Greensboro; sister, Karen Green of Maryland; maternal grandparents, Henry and Sarah Wilhite of Climax.

The family will be at 6762 Monnett Road.

HAMILTON FUNERAL

Funeral for Mrs. Marva L. Floyd Hamilton of 4115 Peterson Ave., who died Wednesday, will be at 3 p.m. today at Elm Grove Baptist Church in Reidsville. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.

GURNEY HINKLE

HIGH POINT - Gurney A. Hinkle, 78, of N.C. 62 West died Friday at High Point Regional Hospital.

Funeral plans are incomplete at Harold C. Davis Funeral Home.\

MRS. LAURA LEONARD

HIGH POINT - Mrs. Laura Thompson Leonard, 88, of 902 N. Hamilton St. died Friday at High Point Regional Hospital.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park Cemetery.

She was a native of Thomasville and the retired owner of Leonard's Cleaners.

Surviving are daughters, Miss Marion H. Leonard of the home, Mrs. Christine Malpass, Mrs. Rachel Garner, both of High Point, Mrs. Wilma Ellington of Greensboro; seven grandchildren.

The family will be at Sechrest Funeral Home 7-8:30 p.m. today.

MRS. VERA MANERS

HIGH POINT - Mrs. Vera Mae Westbrook Maners, 82, of 1116 E. Russell Ave. died Friday at her home.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Brentwood Baptist Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Winston-Salem.

A native of Rock Run, Ala., she was a retired employee of Samples Inc. and a member of the Philathea Sunday School Class.

Surviving are sons, Robert E. Maners of New Bern, Davie M. Maners of Jamestown; daughter, Mrs. Monna E. Goodwin of the home; brother, Eugene Westbrook of Huntsville, Ala.; sisters, Mrs. Eva Smith of Luther, Okla., Mrs. Opal Muller, Mrs. Willie Sue McElwee, both of Piedmont, Ala., Mrs. Lois Tayler of Centre, Ala., Mrs. Lorene Pelzer of Atlanta; 10 grandchildren.

The family will be at Cumby Mortuary 7-9 p.m. Sunday.

MCALLISTER FUNERAL

Funeral for Rosa McAllister of 2715 Buchanan Drive, who died Sunday, June 30, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 6, at Mount Pleasant A.M.E. Church in Roland. Burial will be in Cotton Valley Cemetery in Roland.

She was a native of Latta, S.C.

Surviving are sons, Daniel Webster McAllister, James Willie McAllister, both of Hamer, S.C., John Robert McAllister of Dillon, S.C.; daughters, Annie Mae Livingston of Greensboro, Ida Frances McDougal of Lumberton.

The family will be at the residence.

MILLINGS FUNERAL

Funeral for Jesse Millings Jr. of 514 Broad Ave., who died Monday, will be at 4:45 p.m. Sunday at Hargett Funeral Home. Burial will be in Piedmont Memorial Park.

He was a native of Greensboro.

Surviving are daughter, Cathea Barnes of Greensboro; mother, Florene Millings of Greensboro; sister, Carolyn Caldwell of Greensboro.

The family will be at the funeral home 8:30-9 p.m. today.\

MRS. EDITH PEARL

Mrs. Edith Grossman Pearl, 82, of 5005-B Lawndale Drive died Friday Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

ROACH FUNERAL

HIGH POINT - Funeral for Mrs. Lucille Leonard Roach, 46, of Route 4, who died Thursday, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Sechrest Funeral Home. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park Cemetery.

A native of High Point, she was an employee of High Point Pneumatics and a member of Poplar Ridge Friends Meeting.

Surviving are husband, Wayne Frazier Roach Sr.; sons, Wayne Roach Jr. of Archdale, Eric ``Roscoe' Roach of the home; mother, Nellie Coltrane Leonard of Archdale; sister, Mrs. Peggy Hawks of Archdale; brothers, Richard Leonard of Trinity, Jay Leroy Leonard of High Point; one grandchild.

FRED SIDDLE JR.

Fred Morris Siddle Jr., 48, died Thursday at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

Lonnie Woodrow Sports, 75, of 510 Battleground Ave. died Friday at Wesley Long Community Hospital.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Forbis & Dick North Elm Street Funeral Home. Burial will be in Guilford Memorial Park.

A native of Dillon County, S.C., he was a truck driver and a Baptist.

Surviving are son, Lonnie C. Sports of the home; stepson, Jackie Barlow of Greensboro; sisters, Josephine Cribb of Statesboro, Ga., Ruth Stanford of Midway, Ga.; six grandchildren.

The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Sunday.

WILLETT FUNERAL

Funeral for John Dark ``J.D.' Willett, 76, of 900 N. Elam Ave., who died Tuesday, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hanes-Lineberry North Elm Street Funeral Home. Burial will be in Westminster Gardens.

A native of Bear Creek, he was a retired employee of the U.S. Postal Service, a member of Friendly Avenue Baptist Church, and an Army veteran of World War II.

Surviving are wife, Mrs. Florene Stone Willett; daughters, Mrs. Ann W. Dowd of Greensboro, Mrs. Ronda W. Benson of Manchester, England; sons, John M. Willett of Greensboro, Edward Willett of Richmond, Va.; five grandchildren.

WILLIAMSON FUNERAL

Funeral for Waddell Williamson of 2314 N. Church St., Apt. 101, who died Wednesday, will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Hargett Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.

A native of Graham, he was a retired employee of Black Cadillac Oldsmobile.

Surviving are wife, Sadie Hooper Williamson; son, Waddell D. Williamson of Oxon Hill, Md.; daughters, Arlene W. Bunn of New York City, Vivian W. Slade of Greensboro; seven grandchildren.

The family will be at 2118 Belcrest St.
