WILLIAM A. ALLEN

William Andrew Allen of 2504 Woodview Drive died Sunday at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Forbis & Dick North Elm Street Funeral Home.

JIMMY BONE

James Henry ``Jimmy' Bone, 84, of Starmount Villa died Sunday at his home.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Laurinburg, of which he was a member. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Laurinburg.

A native of Nash County, he was retired from Prudential Insurance Co. He was a member of the Optimist's Club, a Shriner and a Mason.

Surviving are daughters, Betty Haggerty of Greensboro, Martha Crow of Eden; sister, Ethel Daniel of Nashville, N.C.; brothers, Herman Bone, Paul Bone, both of Rocky Mount, Luther Bone of Nashville, N.C.; four grandchildren.

The family will be at McDougald Funeral Home, Laurinburg, 7-9 p.m. today.

Hanes-Lineberry North Elm Street Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

MRS. RALPH COBLE SR.

Graveside service for Mrs. Ralph P. Coble Sr., 96, of 1514 Independence Road, who died Saturday, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

A native of Scotland Neck, she graduated from East Carolina Teachers College. She was a member of West Market Street United Methodist Church and was a retired schoolteacher for the Winston-Salem city school system.

Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Virginia C. Newman of Greensboro; sons, Ralph P. Coble Jr. of Liberty, John E. Coble of Greenville, S.C.; brothers, Wilbur N. Weeks of Scotland Neck, Jack Weeks of Norfolk; six grandchildren.

The family will be at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home 7-8 p.m. today.

HIGH POINT - J.C. Cochran, 47, of 122 Welch Drive died Sunday at the Veterans Hospital in Salisbury.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Cumby Eastchester Drive Mortuary.

William Ronald ``Little Ronnie' Dew Jr., 27, of 5412 Hiddenbrook Drive, McLeansville died Saturday at Union Memorial Hospital in Monroe.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Forbis & Dick North Elm Street Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.

A native of Greensboro, he was a mechanic at North State Chevrolet. He was a member of Faith Wesleyan Church and the U.S. Drag Boat Association.

Surviving are parents, Ronnie Dew Sr. and Mrs. Patsy Dew; sister, Mrs. Cindy Reynolds of Greensboro; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dew Sr., both of Greensboro.

The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today.

CHESTER R. GRAVES JR.

HIGH POINT - Chester Raymond Graves Jr., 41, of Pell Care Nursing Facility in Winston-Salem, formerly of 808-A Mobile St., died Thursday at the nursing home.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Haizlip Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park.

A native of High Point, he formerly was employed at Leggett and Platt Inc. He was of the Holiness faith.

Surviving are wife, Mrs. Rosa Nelson Graves; daughter, Miss Arnita Graves of Burlington; father, Chester R. Graves Sr. of Chapel Hill; three grandsons.

The family will be at the funeral home 7-8 p.m. Tuesday, other times at the residence, 808-A Mobile St.

MRS. VELLA HENDERSON

Mrs. Vella Franklin Henderson, 87, of 5079 Millpoint Road died Sunday at Healthhaven Nursing Center.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Forbis & Dick North Elm Street Funeral Home. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Gaston Cemetery, Gastonia.

A native of West Virginia, she was a telephone operator with Southern Bell and a member of Alamance Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are son, L.D. ``Rick' Henderson of Greensboro; sisters, Mrs. Knight Grant, Mrs. Lark Buchanan, both of Franklin; brothers, Otis Franklin, Nebo Franklin, both of Franklin; seven grandchildren.

The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today.

MRS. ETHEL HOWARD

HIGH POINT - Mrs. Ethel Howard of 802 George Place died Sunday at High Point Regional Hospital.

Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Friendship Baptist Church, of which she was a member.

A native of Anson County, she was a homemaker.

Surviving are sisters, Mrs. Jessie Mae Wright of High Point, Mrs. Julia Huffman of Charlotte; brother, the Rev. Willie Hall of Charlotte.

The family will be at Haizlip Funeral Home 7-8 p.m. Tuesday, other times at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Linton, 903 Enterprise Drive.

PAUL W. MASHBURN

Paul Westall Mashburn, 70, of Greensboro died Saturday at Wesley Long Community Hospital.

Funeral will be at 8 p.m. today at Ivie Funeral Home in Andrews. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Briartown Baptist Church cemetery, Nantahala.

He was a machine operator for 18 years with Union Camp Paper Co. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Barbara Anne Shelton of Reidsville; son, Ronnie Kenneth Mashburn of Franklinville; sisters, Mrs. Marie Lindsey, Mrs. Ella Mae Guffey, Mrs. Genevieve Hunt, all of High Point, Mrs. Paralee McMahan of Maryville, Tenn.; brothers, Daniel Mashburn, Jimmy Mashburn, both of High Point; three grandchildren.

The family will be at the funeral home 6-8 p.m. today before the funeral.

MRS. HELEN McCURRY

HIGH POINT - Mrs. Helen Elizabeth Lee McCurry of 718 Brookside Drive died Saturday at Ocean Isle Beach.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park.

A native of Winston-Salem, she was a retired employee of the city of High Point.

Surviving are sisters, Mrs. Juanita Williams of Wadesboro, Mrs. Madeline Fowler, Mrs. Gerry L. Tobin, both of High Point; brother, Hobert T. Lee Jr. of High Point.

The family will be at the home of a sister, Mrs. Madeline Fowler, 1303 Wales Drive.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church.

MRS. VADA OZMENT

HIGH POINT - Mrs. Vada Northcott Ozment, 78, formerly of Route 3, Glenola, died Saturday at Triad Manor.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Baptist Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park.

A native of High Point, she was retired from Amos Hosiery where she worked for 53 years. She was a member of the Mothers Sunday School Class at her church.

Surviving are son, William Venice Ozment of High Point; sister, Mrs. Leotis Sugg of Thomasville; two grandchildren.

The family will be at Cumby Mortuary in Archdale 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, other times at the residence of her son.

MRS. CECELIA PUGLIESE

HIGH POINT - Mrs. Cecelia Southard Pugliese, 46, of 3815 Oak Forest Drive died Sunday at N.C. Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.

Funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park.

A native of Philadelphia, she was a volunteer at High Point Regional Hospital and a member of the Christian Women's Club.

Surviving are husband, Thomas J. Pugliese; daughters, Mrs. Linda Johnson of Carrboro, Miss Lorrie A. Pugliese of the home; sisters, Mrs. Gerry Noble of Magnolia, N.J., Miss Patricia Southard, Miss Ellen Southard, both of Seattle; brother, Thomas Southard of Hammonton, N.J.

The family will be at Cumby Eastchester Drive Mortuary 7-9 p.m. today.

Albert C. Reid of 1739 Willow Road died Sunday at his home.

HIGH POINT - George Thomas ``Tommy' Sanders Jr., 35, of 2617 Waynick St. died Saturday at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Cumby Eastchester Drive Mortuary. Burial will be in Veterans Cemetery in Salisbury.

A native of Wilmington, he lived in High Point for the past two years. He formerly was employed at Barney Coffee Co. in Daytona Beach, Fla. He was an Army veteran and a Baptist.

Surviving are mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Goodwin of Rockingham; sisters, Mrs. Deborah Creech of the home, Mrs. Brenda Saunders of High Point; brother, Seith Sanders of Alabama.

The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today.

MRS. FRANCES SMITH

Mrs. Frances Walker Rumley Smith, 84, of 1108 Gregory St. died Sunday at Greensboro Healthcare Center.

JOHN W. STUPAK

John W. Stupak, 79, of 4929-D Tower Road died Saturday at Wesley Long Community Hospital.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home. Burial will be in Westminster Gardens.

A native of Elizabeth, N.J., he was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, a charter member and former president of the Crescent Rotary Club and a member of the Greensboro Business Club. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a retired flooring and ceiling contractor and founder and former owner of the Tile Shop and Carolina Acoustical and Flooring.

Surviving are wife, Mrs. Dora ``Dot' Eriksen Stupak; daughters, Mrs. Elsa Troxler, Mrs. Jean Leary, both of Greensboro; son, John W. Stupak Jr. of Baltimore; sister, Mrs. Jane Ronnlund of Cranford, N.J.; seven grandchildren.

The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today.

HIGH POINT - Michael Wayne Watts, infant son of Mitchell Wayne ``Mickey' Watts Jr. and Vickie Spencer Watts of High Point, died Sunday at his home.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Floral Garden Park.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are sister, Sandy Renee Watts of the home; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Sweatt of Cedar Square, Richard Spencer of Siler City; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Drake of Trinity, Mitchell Wayne Watts Sr. of Chesnee, S.C.

The family will be at Sechrest Funeral Home, Archdale, 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

MRS. BESSIE WEBB

HIGH POINT - Mrs. Bessie Proctor Webb, 78, of 702 Old Thomasville Road died Sunday at High Point Regional Hospital.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pilot View Baptist Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park.

A native of Davidson County, she was retired from Harris & Covington Hosiery. She was a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class and taught in the children's department of her church for 40 years.

Surviving are husband, Felix L. Webb; daughters, Mrs. Delores Combs, Mrs. Ronnie Tharp, both of High Point; sisters, Mrs. Helen Baucom, Mrs. Eunice Parrish, both of Baltimore, Mrs. Doris Gooch, Mrs. Nadine Rowland, both of High Point; two grandchildren.

The family will be at Cumby Eastchester Drive Mortuary 7-8 p.m. Tuesday.

PAUL WOODRUFF

HIGH POINT - Paul Woodruff, 31, of 40 Magnolia St., Ocoee, Fla., died Sunday at Florida South Hospital in Orlando, Fla.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Cumby Mortuary.

A native of Caldwell County, he worked at Walt Disney World and was a Baptist.

Surviving are parents, Claude Woodruff, Louise Jolly Woodruff, both of High Point; sisters, Mrs. Louise Watts of Orlando, Fla., Mrs. Betty Morton of High Point; brothers, Charles K. Woodruff of Deltona, Fla., Earl G. Woodruff of Orlando, Fla.

The family will be at the home of Mrs. Betty Morton, 623 Wesley Drive, High Point.
