Mrs. Amelia Tatum Daniel, 78, of 606 Elmwood Drive died Tuesday at Wesley Long Community Hospital.Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hanes-Lineberry North Elm Street Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Hollybrook Cemetery in Lincolnton.
She was a retired public school music teacher, a graduate of Converse College and Columbia University. A Salisbury native, she was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Fraternity and First Baptist Church.
Surviving are brother, Samuel C. Tatum of Greensboro; sister, Mrs. Catherine T. Moore of Newport News, Va.
The family will be at the home.
Tobe James ``Jack' Duncan, 84, of 1201 Carolina St. died Friday in Greensboro.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. today at Guilford Memorial Park.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of the Covenant and a retired grain salesman.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Vivian Lemons of Greensboro, Miss Lois Duncan of Michigan; two grandchildren.
Triangle Cremation Service in Chapel Hill is in charge of arrangements.

HIGH POINT - Mrs. Mary Cromartie Hocutt, 82, of High Point died Monday at High Point Regional Hospital.
Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery. Memorial service will be at a later date at the Presbyterian Home.
A Bladen County native, she attended Queens College and was a former employee of Wilson Library. She was a member of University Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are brother, Dr. William Cromartie of Chapel Hill; sisters, Mrs. Ruth C. Baldwin of High Point, Mrs. Lois C. Tulluck of Orangeburg, S.C., Mrs. Anne C. Reynolds of McLean, Va.; two grandchildren.

A Stokes County native, she was a homemaker and a member of McLeansville Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Earline B. Ballard of Winston-Salem, Mrs. Lucille N. Osborne of the home; sons, James N. Nance of Greensboro, Leo N. Nance of Whitsett; four grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today.

A Greensboro native, he was an employee of Ashland Chemical Co.
Surviving are wife, Michele Stogner; daughter, Stephanie Stogner; mother, Hazel S. Coltrane; sister, Laura Chapman.

HIGH POINT - Mrs. Elizabeth ``Bonie' Browne Wall, 88, of Presbyterian Home died Tuesday at the home.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, of which she was a member. Inurnment will be at Oakwood Memorial Park.
A Spokane, Wash., native, she was a graduate of St. Mary's College and a homemaker. She was a member of the E.C.W., charter member of the High Point Junior League and helped in the organization of Hospice of the Piedmont. She was a former High Point Citizen of the Year, member of High Point Regional Hospital Guild and active with the Humane Society.
Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Becky Parker of Salisbury; son, John A. Wall of High Point; sister, Miss Ruth N. Browne of High Point; six grandchildren.
