MRS. ELLAREE FOUST

Mrs. Ellaree Eliza Foust of 1524 McConnell Road died Saturday at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Hargett Funeral Home.

CLINTON OATES

The Rev. Clinton M. Oates, 86, of 1100 Elwell Ave. died Saturday at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bethel Baptist Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.

A native of Chatham County, he was former minister at Lebanon Baptist Church, Pomona Baptist Church, Martin Avenue Baptist Church, all in Greensboro, and Carolina Avenue Baptist Church in Thomasville.

Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Rickman of the home, son, James T. Oates of Greensboro; sisters, Mrs. Fonnie Edwards of Bennett, Mrs. Dorothy Cox of Greensboro; brothers, John Oates, Fred Oates, both of Greensboro, Vernon Oates of Bennett.

The family will be at Forbis and Dick Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. Monday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Baptist Church building fund, 2230 Lees Chapel Road in Greensboro, N.C. 27405.

NELLIE SMITH

Nellie P. Smith, 72, of Albany Health Care Center in Albany, Ga., died Friday at the center.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Street Funeral Home. Burial will be in Guilford Memorial Park.

A native of Cobb County, Ga., she was a retired cashier and a member of Hunter Hills Baptist Church.

Surviving are daughter, Miss Carolyn Johnson of Greensboro; sons, Luther W. Johnson of Albany, Ga., James L. Johnson of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; sisters, Mrs. Helen Coffey of Greensboro, Mrs. Ruth King of Jacksonville, Fla.; nine grandchildren.

The family will be at the funeral home 7-8:30 p.m. today, other times at the residence of Mrs. Helen Coffey, 1605 Roseland St. in Greensboro.

TRUITT FUNERAL

Funeral for Mrs. Norma Truitt of 206 Huffman St., who died Thursday, will be at 12 p.m. Monday at Bethel AME Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.

A native of Richmond, Va., she was a self-employed dress maker.

There are no immediate survivors.

The family will be at the residence.

Hargett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
