HISTORICAL MUSEUM EVENTS INCLUDE TALKS BY REPORTERS, FILMS

The Greensboro Historical Museum has several events coming up this month.

On Saturday, at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., the museum will show vintage news footage. The three half-hour films are ``Gay Nineties Live Again,' ``Yesterday Lives Again' and ``Lowell Thomas Remembers.' The admission is free.At 3 p.m. Sunday, in the new Mary Norris Preyer Hall, audience members can interview their favorite reporter. Greensboro News & Record reporters Abe Jones, Martha Long, Bill Morris and Jim Schlosser will talk about their work and answer questions.

The museum will sponsor tours of the historic First Presbyterian Church cemetery from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, and 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30. During the tours, volunteers will share information about the cemetery, which dates back to the 1830s.
