HUNTER SAFETY CLASSES CONTINUE AT TOWNSEND

Hunter safety courses, which the state wildlife commission now requires for a N.C. hunting license, will continue this week at Lake Townsend Marina. Instructors Robert Stutts and John Hopkins will hold classes at the marina Oct. 10 and 11. For information, call Sports Unlimited, 668-3903.

The following week, Stutts will hold classes again at the marina. Classes will be evenings (Oct. 19, 20 and 22) from 6-9:30 p.m. For information on those classes, call the marina at 375-2232.

The hunter safety coordinator for the courses is Lt. Chester D. Simms.
