Remain calm. Your help is important.
Display your phone number and address at each phone in your home or business.
Answer all questions asked and follow any instructions given.
Stay on the phone until you are sure the 911 operator has the information.
Once you have called for help, stay off the phone. The 911 operator may need to call back for additional information or directions. If you must call someone, make the call as brief as possible.
