JOE FAIRRINGTON DIES IN NURSING HOME AT 100

Joe R. Fairrington, 100, of Asheboro died Thursday at Brian Nursing Center.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pugh Funeral Home. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.A Guilford County native, he was a member of Sandy Ridge Methodist Church.

Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Faye Tysinger, Mrs. Pearl Bennett, Mrs. Martha Carter, all of Asheboro; son, Richard Fairrington of Asheboro.

The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today, other times at the residence of Mrs. Talmadge Tysinger, 1555 Thornsdale Drive.
