KOWSKI'S ART ON DISPLAY IN WASHINGTON SQUARE EXHIBIT

Bob Kowski, professor of art at Greensboro College, is exhibiting his sculpture in the Tri State Sculptors Educational Association ``Color in Sculpture' art exhibit being held through Aug. 1 at Washington Square in Washington.

The pieces Kowski is exhibiting include ``Five Islet Shoes,' ``Still Life with Squashes' and ``Lawn Flamingo Hastens Own Demise.'Kowski is one of 29 artists from North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia participating in the exhibit.

Washington Square Limited Partnership, the developers and owners of Washington Square, is hosting the Tri State Sculptors Educational Association Exhibition as part of its ongoing art in public spaces program. The program brings museum quality art to the public and creates a lively forum for contemporary expression in the sculptural arts. Since its inception in 1984, Washington Square has featured the work of over 500 quality artists.
