Don’t feel like cooking Thursday?
Here’s a look at some local restaurant offerings on Thanksgiving.
Leblon Churrascaria Brazilian Steakhouse, 106 S. Holden Road in Greensboro is open 3 to 7:30 p.m. serving a Brazilian feast and some extras such as corn bread stuffing, green bean casserole and oven roasted Turkey breast with gravy. Cost is $27 per adult, $16 per child 12 and younger. Call 294-2605.
Boston Market: Holiday meal includes roasted turkey breast with two homestyle sides, freshly baked cornbread and a slice of apple or pumpkin pie for $10.99. The chain is also offering its Oven to Table Holiday Meals, Hot & Ready Catered Buffets and a la carte items for carry-out.
Cracker Barrel: Open at 11 a.m. Turkey n’ Dressing Meal Complete comes with baked ham, sweet potato casserole with pecans, cranberry relish, your choice of vegetable, a beverage (milkshakes not included) and biscuits or corn muffins, as well as a slice of Pumpkin Pecan Streusel pie for dessert, all for $9.99 for adults and $4.99 for children. The child’s meal does not include ham or sweet potato casserole and is served with a half slice of pie.
Golden Corral: Locations in Greensboro and Burlington are open. The Thanksgiving buffet includes carved turkey, carved ham, fried chicken, rotisserie chicken, pot roast, meatloaf, sirloin steak, fried shrimp and more. $12.99 (pricing may vary by location).
IHOP: Open. Call ahead for hours. Many of the franchised stores will be open all night and through the next day for Black Friday shoppers even if it’s not a usual 24-hour restaurant. Check your local IHOP for more details.
K&W Cafeteria: Thanksgiving meal includes turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, two vegetables, bread, beverage and scratch-made dessert. $6.99
Lone Star Steakhouse: Menu includes 8-ounce roasted turkey breast topped with gravy and served with dressing, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. $15.99. Pumpkin Cheesecake is $4.99.
Mimi’s Cafe: Open from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. A three-course dinner is $16.99 per adult and $8.99 per child. Begins with soup or salad. Main course includes roasted turkey breast or tender dark meat, cornbread stuffing, mashed sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli, cranberry relish and Mimi’s signature bread basket. Desserts include pumpkin pie served with whipped cream or the pecan pie.
Moose Cafe: All-you-can-eat baked ham, roasted turkey, cornbread dressing, fresh sides, biscuits and cornbread for $10.99; pumpkin pie and pecan pie for $1.99; plated meals $8.99. Make a reservation at 668-1125.
Ruby Tuesday: Locations in Greensboro and Burlington are open, with the exception of the Four Seasons Town Centre location.
Ruth’s Chris Steak House: A special three-course menu for Thanksgiving is $36.95 to $37.95 per adult and $12.95 for children 12 and younger. Starters include choice of Louisiana Seafood Gumbo, Caesar salad or steak house salad. For the main course, Ruth’s Chris is offering oven-roasted sliced turkey breast served with homemade gravy, Ruth’s sausage-and-herb stuffing and cranberry relish.
Shoney’s: Traditional Thanksgiving meal including turkey, fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, sweet potato casserole, collard greens and more. Kids 4 and younger can receive a free buffet with the purchase of an adult meal.
Waffle House: Open.
