A North Carolina man wanted in the murder of his brother has been arrested in Tennessee, according to authorities.
A spokeswoman in the Knox County, Tenn., public information office said Malcolm Glenn Lamberth, 47, was arrested Tuesday morning. She said she couldn't say why because an arrest report had not yet been filed.Lamberth was being sought by North Carolina officials on a first-degree murder charge in the Sunday evening death of his brother, James Edward Lamberth, 47.
James Edward Lamberth, 47, was shot in the head at his home in the Caswell County town of Leasburg. The victim was a U.S. Treasury agent who was in charge of the Danville, Va., office of the Internal Revenue Service. Police have given no motive in the shooting.
