MOCKSVILLE LEGISLATOR NAMED TO COMMISSION

State Rep. Julia C. Howard has been appointed to the state's Real Property Study Commission.

Howard, who owns and operates Howard Realty and Insurance Agency in Mocksville, was appointed to the commission by state House Speaker Daniel T. Blue Jr.Blue said Howard's 25 years of real estate experience will contribute expertise to the commission.

Howard, a Republican, is running unopposed for the District 74 House seat to represent parts of Davidson, Iredell and Davie counties.
