GREENSBORO — A former Page High School teacher appeared in court Monday on charges of first-degree statutory rape and indecent liberties with children.
The suspect is being held on a bond of more than $3 million.
It’s still unclear what led to the shooting Sunday of 14-year-old Tron Davis inside a local apartment complex.
The Greensboro club has been the scene of at least two other, non-fatal shootings in the past 18 months. Police do not suspect that the shootings are connected.

The victim from Jamestown had a temperature of 110-plus degrees when she got to the hospital in High Point.
