Eden police looking for bank robbery suspect

Billy Odell Powell, 48, is believed by police to have gone into the Woodforest National Bank inside the Walmart at 304 E. Arbor Lane about 11:45 a.m.

Officers responded shortly thereafter to a hold-up alarm. 

No one was injured. 

A news release describes Powell as between 5 feet 9 inches tall and 5 feet 10 inches tall. 

He has been living in the Eden and Axton, Va. areas, according to the news release.
