JOHN PAUL DOHNER GREENSBORO Mr. John Paul Dohner, 77, of Greensboro, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Winston-Salem Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Forbis and Dick Guilford Chapel with Rev. Mark Norman Vickers officiating. John was a U S Marine veteran. He was a gentleman who loved to race cars, especially Corvettes in the SCCA, an accomplished pilot, and one who loved off shore fishing. John loved working and was a dedicated family man. He is survived by his wife, Susan Platt Frome Dohner, five children, David B. Dohner, J. Douglas Dohner and his wife Tiffany, Leah E. Alberghini and husband John, Sharon S. Dohner and husband Kurt Couvillion, and Daniel B. Dohner and wife Lynn; a sister, Sally Dohner; many grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
