Guilford County sheriff's detectives need help solving a pickup truck theft that happened March 1. The truck, a black 1974 Chevrolet C-10, was left on the side of Groometown Road after it broke down at Interstate 85. About an hour later, witnesses saw a tow truck hook up to the pickup truck and tow it away. The stolen truck is a customized truck with a stained wooden bed and chrome underneath. Greensboro/Guilford Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for the theft. Call 373-1000.
