Oliver North puts the blame for the Iran-Contra scandal on Ross Perot. North, at services Sunday at Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas, said Perot gave him a pep talk at Electronic Data Systems, Perot's company where North was planning to work because he intended to leave the Marines.
``When he was finished, I was all choked up, and he asked me, 'Do you still want to leave the Marine Corps?' and I said, 'No sir,' ' North recalled.North stayed in the Marines, and, as National Security Council aide, was the key operative in the arms-trading scandal. ``So, Iran-Contra is all Perot's fault,' North quipped.
