BISCOE - Charles Eugene Brady, 34, of Route 1 died Friday at Montgomery Hospital in Troy.Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Lanier-Briggs Funeral Home in Candor.

GRAHAM - Mrs. Emma Sabol DeMartini, 76, of 1603 Broadway Drive died Friday at Alamance County Hospital.

Graveside service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Graham Memorial Park.

A native of Yonkers, N.Y., she was a homemaker and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Yonkers.

Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Carol DiLello of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Peteshel, Mrs. Agnes Doty, both of Yonkers; two brothers, Richard Sabol, Joseph Sabol, both of Yonkers; three grandsons.

The family will be at the residence.

MRS. DOROTHY DIFATTA

SOUTHERN PINES - Mrs. Dorothy K. Difatta, 80, of 525 E. Indiana Ave. died Friday at her residence.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Saint Anthony's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery.

A native of Southern Pines, she was a homemaker.

Surviving are husband, Dominik T. Difatta; sons, Thomas D. Difatta of Gastonia, Peter J. Difatta of Jacksonville, Fla.; daughter, Ms. Marion D. Difatta of Southern Pines; brothers, William Krafton of Pittsburgh, Pa., Leo Krafton of Summersville, Pa.; sisters, Helen K. Williams of Monterey, Calif., Mildred K. Agnew of McDonald, Pa., Betty K. Schaffer of Mayport, Pa.; two grandchildren.

KERNERSVILLE - David Nathan Hanline, 59, of 109 English St. died Friday at his home.

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Faith Assembly of God, which he attended. Burial with full military honors will be in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory.

A native of Winston-Salem, he was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was employed by Modern Machine and Metals Fabricators.

Surviving are wife, Mrs. Evelyn J. Hanline; sons, Danny Hanline, David Hanline, both of Greensboro; stepdaughters, Mrs. Gloria York, Mrs. Sherree Doss, both of Asheboro, Mrs. Gail Henderson of Stevensville, Ontario, Canada; sisters, Mrs. Ida Mae Carson of Kernersville, Mrs. Christine Norton of Austin, Texas; six stepgrandchildren.

The family will be at Pierce Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. today.

MRS. MARY HARDEN

GRAHAM - Mrs. Mary Crutchfield Harden, 70, of 214 W. Pine St. died Friday at Duke University Medical Center in Durham.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Rich & Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.

A native of Hopewell, Va., she was former treasurer of Bethany Home Demonstration Club. She was the 1977 American Business Women's Association (Graham Chapter) Woman of the Year.

Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Becky Clemmer of Charlotte, Mrs. Betty B. Hensley of Matthews; one grandchild.

SAMUEL HEDRICK

LEXINGTON - Samuel Jacob ``Jake' Hedrick, 67, of Route 20, Old Highway 75 died Friday at Lexington Memorial Hospital.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Davidson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville.

A native of Guilford County, he was a retired employee of Dixie Furniture Co. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion.

Surviving are wife, Mrs. Argie Holder Hedrick; son, Sammie D. Hedrick of Lexington; brother, Archie W. Hedrick of High Point; three grandchildren.

J. MARVIN HUTCHINS

SILER CITY - J. Marvin Hutchins, 80, of Meadowbrook Manor died Friday at the home.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Smith and Buckner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Brush Creek Baptist Church cemetery.

A native of Surry County, he was a retired cattle farmer and a member of Brush Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving are brother, Van Hutchins of Staley; sister, Mrs. Lucy Branson of Sanford; niece, Mrs. Betty Pugh of Liberty.

MRS. ALTON INGOLD

GRAHAM - Mrs. Alton Jarrell Ingold, 69, of 297 Cheeks Lane died Friday at Alamance County Hospital in Burlington.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Graham Presbyterian Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.

A native of Alamance County, she was retired owner and operator of Sunbeam Kindergarten.

Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Elissa Powell of Hillsborough, Mrs. Kay Swinney of the home; sister, Mrs. Mossie Dodson of Graham; three grandchildren.

ASHEBORO - Charlie Oakwell Ingold, 84, of Randolph Rest Home died Friday at the home.

A native of Randolph County, he was a retired farmer.

Surviving are sons, Russell Ingold, Leonard Ingold, Jesse Ingold, Jimmy Ingold, all of Asheboro; daughters, Mrs. Donsy Hames of Asheboro, Mrs. Martha Peele of Virginia Beach, Va.; sisters, Mrs. Mabel Hethcock, Mrs. Bertha Stringer, both of Asheboro; 14 grandchildren.

MRS. JEWELDENE JOHNSON

BURLINGTON - Mrs. Jeweldene Gilliam Johnson, 55, of 4414 N.C. 87, Elon College died Friday at her home.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Bethlehem Christian Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

A native of Alamance County, she was employed by Burlington Industries' transportation division.

Surviving are husband, Tommy T. Johnson Sr.; sons, Lewis B. Johnson Jr. of Brown Summit, Gary M. Johnson of Elon College, Kyle E. Johnson of Haw River; father, W. Loftin Gilliam of Elon College; sisters, Mrs. Audrey Moore, Mrs. Carolyn Little, both of Elon College; one grandchild.

MRS. MARY KINDLEY

LEXINGTON - Mrs. Mary Miller Kindley, 86, of Autumn Care in Salisbury died Thursday at Rowan Memorial Hospital in Salisbury.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Second Presbyterian Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Lexington City Cemetery.

A native of Lexington, she was a retired employee of Dacotah Mill and served as an elder at her church.

Surviving are brother, Jack Miller of Holden Beach; sister, Mrs. Margaret Beane of Sophia.

The family will be at Davidson Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. today.

MRS. FLORA KING

BURLINGTON - Mrs. Flora White King, 77, of 2923 Bedford St. died Thursday at her home.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at McClure Funeral Home in Graham. Burial will be in Lebanon Baptist Church cemetery in Greensboro.

A native of Robeson County, she was a retired antiques dealer and a member of First Baptist Church in Graham. She was a member of the Burlington Women's Club, Foot & Fiddle Square Dance Club and the Shallowford Square Dance Club.

Surviving are husband, William Garland King Sr.; daughter, Mrs. Toby King Babelay of Asheville; sons, William G. King Jr. of League City, Texas, Jack N. King of Charlotte; three grandchildren.

CHINA GROVE - Mrs. Ruth Sides Lentz, 75, of Route 4, Lentz Road died Friday at her home.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Lutheran Chapel Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.

A native of Stanly County, she was a retired employee of China Grove Cotton Mill.

Surviving are sons, Donald Lentz of Salisbury, Wayne Lentz, Charles Lentz, both of China Grove; daughter, Mrs. Barbara Allman of Greensboro; brothers, Cecil Sides of Sherrills Ford, Ray Sides of China Grove; sister, Mrs. Evelyn Honeycutt of China Grove; 13 grandchildren.

SANFORD - John Clark Lodge, 53, of 99 Lochmere Drive died Thursday at Central Carolina Hospital.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Floyd Grace United Methodist Church in Floyd, Iowa. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Floyd, Iowa.

A native of Lee County, he was a member of Saint Luke United Methodist Church in Sanford.

Surviving are wife, Mrs. Beverly Hedden Lodge; son, Eric Lodge of Sanford; mother, Mrs. Ruth Clark Lodge of Floyd, Iowa; brother, James Lodge of Floyd, Iowa; sister, Mrs. Patricia Cline of Charles, Iowa.

EDEN - Funeral for Mrs. Mozelle Watson Martin of Baltimore, formerly of Eden, who died Tuesday, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Perry and Spencer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Eden Gardens.

She was a retired employee of Pennsylvania Railroad Co.

Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Peggy Owens, Mrs. Marcelle Taylor, both of Baltimore, Miss Rochelle Martin of Smyrna, Ga.; son, Gerald Martin of Carlisle, Pa.; four grandchildren.

YANCEYVILLE - Mrs. Dorothy Ledford McLendon, 71, died Friday at Memorial Hospital in Danville, Va.

A native of Copper Hill, Tenn., she was a retired employee of Royal Hosiery Mill and a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Billie M. Dailey of Blanche; sister, Mrs. Ruby L. Privett of Ohio; brother, Harold R. Ledford of Jasper, Ga.; three grandchildren.

PELHAM - Miss Cora Mae Mills of Route 1 died Friday at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.

A native of Rockingham County, she was a domestic worker.

DANBURY - John Westley Moorefield, 90, of Route 1 died Friday at Stokes-Reynolds Memorial Hospital.

A native of Stokes County, he was a retired farmer.

Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Elzie Rhodes of Madison, Mrs. Zilla Joyce of Danbury, Mrs. Othelia Wilkens of Sandy Ridge; son, Gilbert D. Moorefield of Madison; 12 grandchildren.

Surviving is sister, Eva Potts of Atlanta.

LEXINGTON - Mrs. Elsie Hicks Shaw, 68, of 1942 Holly Grove Road died Friday at Lexington Memorial Hospital.

She was a native of Randolph County.

ELON COLLEGE - Mrs. Margaret McCray Simpson, 85, of 3054 Gwynn Road died Friday at Alamance County Hospital.

A native of Alamance County, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Iris S. Workman of Burlington, Mrs. Betty Vann Boone of the home, Mrs. Peggie S. Foster of Elon College; three sons, Nathan M. Simpson Sr. of Gibsonville, Boyd Allen Simpson, Mack Dwight Simpson, both of Elon College; one sister, Willie McCray of Elon College; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. - Mrs. Margaret B. Stewart, 74, formerly of Greensboro, died Thursday at her home.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at McAfee Funeral Home in Greenville, S.C. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

A native of Anderson County, S.C., she was a retired employee of Western Electric and a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church. She was a member of the Sunday school homebound department.

Surviving are husband, Robert Stewart; daughter, Mrs. Jerrie L. Scott of Richmond, Va.; son, Kenneth ``Pete' Stewart of Newport Beach, Calif.; sister, Mrs. Rila Allison; stepmother, Mrs. Madge Burns; half sister, Mrs. Nell Burns of Columbia; four grandchildren.

The family will be at 141 Clearview Circle in Travelers Rest.

PLEASANT GARDEN - Johnnie Wood, 72, of Neptune, N.J., died Wednesday at his home.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Saint John Baptist Church in Climax. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

A native of Guilford County, he was a retired employee of Boren Brick Co.

Surviving are wife, Mrs. Coy Wood; daughter, Mrs. Faye Goodman of Neptune, N.J.; sister, Mrs. Rachel Couch of Boston, Mass.; brothers, Robert L. Wood of Pleasant Garden, Raford Wood, Jessie Wood, both of Greensboro, Taddy Wood of Brooklyn, N.Y.; five grandchildren.
