POLICE SEEK INFORMATION ON BURGLARIES

Crime Stoppers and the Greensboro Police Department need help in solving two burglaries that occurred the night of Feb. 17.

The first was at Bain Oil Co., 3201 Spring Garden St., where oxy-acetylene bottles and torches were stolen. The second theft was at Pepsi Cola Bottling Co., 3121 Spring Garden St. Once inside the building, the suspects used the torch stolen at Bain Oil Co. to cut open the safe. In cutting the safe open with the torch, the suspect burned the edge on some of the money that was taken.Greensboro / Guilford Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the persons responsible for these burglaries.
