Deadline is May 2 for arts groups seeking funding from the Community Cultural Projects Pool administered by the United Arts Council of Greensboro. The pool dispenses funds from the state's Grassroots Arts Program to match local funding for local, innovative arts projects.

Grant applications are accepted from nonprofit groups with tax-exempt status which have been incorporated for at least a year. A draft of the proposal must be submitted before submission of a final application.

Interested groups should contact the arts council at 333-7440 for an application packet, or write for one to: United Arts Council of Greensboro, Greensboro Cultural Center, P. P. Box 877, 200 N. Davie St., Greensboro, N. C. 27402.
