RALEIGH IS CHOSEN FOR NASA MEETING

NASA has selected Raleigh as one of seven sites nationwide for a series of public hearings on the future mission of the space agency.

NASA administrator Daniel S. Goldwin said public input will give the agency a chance to reflect on its priorities in the wake of budget cuts and the end of the Cold War.The Raleigh town meeting will be held from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Jane S. McKimmon Center at North Carolina State University.
