PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE This is to inform the public that a public hearing will be held on the proposed Aging, Disability and Transit Services of Rockingham County Community Transportation Program Application to be submitted to the North Carolina Department of Transportation no later than December 1, 2020. The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at 9:30 AM before the Board of Directors of the agency. Those interested in attending the public hearing and needing, either auxiliary aids or services under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) or a language translator should contact Meggan Odell on or before October 30, 2020 at telephone number 336-349-2343 or via email at modell@adtsrc.org. The Community Transportation Program provides assistance to coordinate existing transportation programs operating Rockingham County as well as provides transportation options and services for the communities within this service area. These services are currently provided using Demand Response and Subscription Routes. Services are rendered by Aging, Disability and Transit Services of Rockingham County. The total estimated amount requested for the period July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022.
