Sandinista workers Wednesday refused to surrender four of the 16 businesses the conservative government had returned to pre-revolutionary owners.

Workers at the El Caracol food processing plant said they refused to let Magelda Campos inside when she showed up with a government order granting her ownership.``She left this enterprise in shreds, never giving a thought to the workers, and we have struggled to make it productive again,' said Ronaldo Rodriguez, local secretary general of the Sandinista National Workers Front.
