Marley earns Eagle Award Robert Ross Marley of Troop 244 received the Eagle Scout Award during a court of honor ceremony at Buffalo Presbyterian Church on June 30.
Marley is a rising sophomore at Page High School. He has served his troop as quartermaster, assistant patrol leader, patrol leader and senior patrol leader. He is also a Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow. His troop is sponsored by St. Pius X Church.Marley is the son of Fred T. and Lindy Marley of Bayberry Lane.
Two get Arrow of Light Courtney Stokes and Quincy Glover, members of Cub Scout Pack 441 received the Arrow of Light Award in a candlelight ceremony held in May.
Stokes, son of William and Magadeline Stokes of Greensboro, is a rising sixth grader at Lincoln Middle School.
Glover, son of Douglas and Sarah Glover of Greensboro, is a rising sixth grader at Kiser Middle School.
