NORMAN, Okla. - Terry Dehere scored 21 points and Anthony Avent had 17 points and 10 rebounds, leading Seton Hall to a 92-85 victory over No. 23 Oklahoma.It was the fifth loss in six games for the Sooners.
The Pirates (14-7) made only one field goal in the final 10:19, but they hit 19 of 24 free throws during that span. For the game, Seton Hall outscored the Sooners (15-8) 37-18 from the free throw line in snapping a three-game losing streak.
A 10-2 run midway through the second half gave Seton Hall a 71-63 lead and the Pirates never allowed Oklahoma to get closer than three points after that.
Dehere, who finished with five 3-pointers, scored 14 points in the first half. Oliver Taylor scored 12 of his 16 points in the second half for Seton Hall.
