GREENSBORO — Northern Guilford was the first high school football team in the Triad to hit the field Monday for the first day of official practice. The Nighthawks are coming off a season in which they went 9-2 and reached the NCHSAA Class 4-A playoffs, with both losses coming down to the final possession.
