Summit House has elected board members and officers for the term beginning January 1993.

Elected to the board are the W. Steven Allen Jr.; Barbara Dua of First Presbyterian Church; Jo Gelzer, a Greensboro community leader; Mable Scott of Greensboro Public Schools; and Bob Kelly of Weaver Construction Co.New officers are Clem Clement, chair; Ellen ``Lennie' Gerber, chair-elect and vice chair; Michael Pendergraft, secretary; and Barbara Ruby, treasurer.

Summit House is an alternative to prison for nonviolent female offenders and their children.
