The University of North Carolina at Greensboro will sponsor a local access session to the national teleconference, ``Eldercare Options for the 1990s,' to be aired via satellite Friday.
The free, public conference will take place from noon to 2 p.m. that day in room 313 of Graham Building on campus. A discussion of the broadcast material will be held afterward. The event is sponsored by the UNCG Department of Social Work. Information is available by calling Virginia Stephens, conference coordinator, at 334-5147 weekdays.The teleconference is originating at Old Dominion University. It will examine critical issues of elder care and how the problems can be tackled by hospitals, public service agencies and corporations.
Panelists will be Michael A. Creedon, president of Creedon Group, a national consulting firm on aging issues; Delores Vellinga, director of dependent care at U.S. West Corp.; and William Lubin, a vice president and director of long term care at Lincoln National Corp.

Living History Weekend\ Tannenbaum Park, at Battleground Avenue and New Garden Road, will be the site of a Living History Weekend Nov. 2-3.
The free event will feature 18th century military encampments, blacksmith demonstrations and tours of the restored Hoskins House and grounds.
The park will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
