TWO PROFESSIONALS WIN TENNIS AWARDS

Two Greensboro tennis professionals recently received honors for their contributions to tennis.

Steve MacDermut was honored by the Southern Division of the U.S. Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) as North Carolina's Professional of the Year. MacDermut is the current president of the N.C. Association of Tennis Professionals (NCATP) and founder of the NCATP Charity Foundation. He is the director of tennis at Greensboro's Cardinal Country Club.Kim Dillard, director of tennis at Sedgefield Country Club, won the Southern Division Seminar contest with his presentation ``How To Live Safely to the Next Point'.

Both awards were presented at the Southern Division Convention held Nov. 5-8 in Nashville, Tenn.
