A Winston-Salem teen was struck by a shotgun blast during a drive-by shooting late Tuesday, six days after his brother was killed in an apparent argument over drug money, police said.

Both shootings occurred along Free Street in Winston-Salem's Happy Hills Gardens community, said Officer Ron Abernathy. But authorities don't believe the two shootings are related, he said.Patrick Lavonne Harrison, 18, of 705 Alexander St. was taken to N.C. Baptist Hospital with shotgun wounds in the neck and face. He was in satisfactory condition Wednesday. Harrison may have been the victim of a random shooting, Abernathy said.

Harrison's brother - Dedrick Lavon Harrison - died July 24 after he was shot several times. Police said three people drove up in a taxi, argued with him over drug money, then shot him. All three have been arrested.

Abernathy said officers don't know who shot Patrick Harrison.
