Tickets are on sale for Greensboro’s 2026 Women’s Equality Day Luncheon, which starts at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26, at the Yvonne J. Johnson Event Center, 1502 Barber Park Dr. The City’s Belonging & Engagement Division and Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) host the annual event in conjunction with Women’s Equality Day, which celebrates the adoption of the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution in 1920.
This year’s program features keynote speaker Annette Taylor, chair of the North Carolina Council for Women. Taylor brings more than 25 years of community engagement experience, including leadership roles with the U.S. House of Representatives and state agencies. She earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from NC Central University and a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Pfeiffer University.
