PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – The Radford men's golf program debuted their 2026 fall season this week at the Golfweek Fall Challenge and saw some strong individual performances to begin the season.

Radford performances
Coming back in his second year as a Highlander CJ Peterson picked up where he left off as a bright spot for the program. Peterson was consistent throughout the entirety of the Fall Challenge starting with a day one score of 72 (E) on the day. The sophomore's day two performance eclipsed his day one total, stroking 71 shots on the day to be one-under after two days of play. Peterson's third and final round was just as consistent as the other two days of play with the Highlander hitting one-under par for a team-best two-under for the Challenge. Peterson placed tied for 17th across all competitors.
Dalton Sisneros led his freshman teammates and had the second-highest placement on the team. Sisneros' day one result was the weakest play with the freshman shooting four-over par, but he had a good recovery on day two, going even on the second 18 holes. His best hole was the 584-yard par 5 with Sisneros shooting a birdie on the hole. Sisneros closed out the third and final round of play shooting one-over par to end the Challenge five-over par in tied 47th place.
Going into his third season as a member of the Highlanders' golf team, Benson Blevins placed third-best on the team in tied for 50th place overall. Blevins finished the first round two-over par, the next round even, and closed out four-over par. Jett Leard and David Goode rounded out the Highlanders' performances with Leard and Goode shooting seven-over as both Highlanders placed tied for 54th.
Up next
The Highlanders will have a fast turnaround with them competing in the Bryan National Collegiate. The collegiate will begin Saturday, September 12th through the 13th held in Greensboro, N.C.
